- Cardboard and white spray paint
This model is a 1:20 scale replica of my current bedroom in which I study. In constructing this I learnt a lot about the impact of light on space. Without the window shutters, the photos I took would be much less dramatic and lifelike. However, this model did emphasize the fact that not much light is able to get into the interior space, making the space feel claustrophobic and separate from the outside world.
The images below are of the several folding activities I completed when watching the tutorials from "Folding techniques for designers" by Lawrence King. These activities turned out quite well and produced some very contemporary shapes. Due to the interesting shadows, these shapes produced the final photos taken were very interesting. I used some black foam board as a backdrop with the aim of contrasting the white of the paper, producing monochromatic images.

The below screenshots are of my attempt at creating 3 interlocking prisms inspired by a hallway in my house. This process was mostly successful apart from when I tried to place the template into the laser-cut file only to find out that it didn't fit. In order to fix this, I went back to my fusion 360 model and changed its scale. Other than this no other problems were encountered. This exercise taught me quite a bit about fusion 360, a software that I have never used before.
